I like crows. Many people don't. I highly recommend crows not be treated as pets in populated areas. Although intelligent, they are loud and vocal. They communicate with each other on a regular basis. It's my belief, they're one of the most intelligent animals on the planet. They're cousins of the Blue Jay and Raven, all members of the Corvus family.

One other thing. Some of the photos below were taken through a window screen which gives them a hazy look. There was a group of seven birds visiting me daily. Since I live in the downtown area of the village of Romeo, I noticed that my seven visitors also had a routine, where they visited most of the downtown parking lots for extra snacks.

Due to the bird's gentle squawking at lunch time, my neighbors encouraged me to change hobbies. I complied.

Crows

Nuts!

Lunch.

He seems to want more than one.

This is an attempted murder.

Just hanging.

On final approach.

The attempted murder is getting closer.

The food's on my lawn, not theirs.

Waiting for lunch.

A murder!

Out of peanuts, buh bye!

Hey, those are for the crows!

I think this guy wants that boat.

These are bad birds! They probably aren't old enough to smoke.

This bird is on a tether and has a knife! A big city bird?

Before you scream Photoshop, this was taken as a series of photos. It's real!
